Well not much new to report from the other day. He is about 3 pounds 6 ounces today. And I was wrong about his feedings. So Wednesday they gave him 3 hours worth of milk in 2 hours, yesterday it was 3 hours worth in 1 hour and today he will get 3 hours worth in 30 minutes. He seems to be tolerating it well. He has been awful feisty though!
When I came in yesterday morning he had pulled his feeding tube out all the way. Then kicked off one of the monitors on feet, he's done that a few times today already. And his nurse said that before I came in he had taken one of the leads off his chest and put it on his head. And he pulled another one off yesterday too. He keeps grabbing a hold of his nasal prongs and pulling them out as well. They just keep re-taping it and putting them back in. I'm surprised they haven't swaddled his hands to his sides yet so that he would stop it! When I was holding him yesterday he got the feeding tube wrapped around his hand and pulled it out and then right when the nurse came in to fix it he grabbed the prongs and took that out too, he's being a little stinker!
They took his high flow nasal cannula down to 2 today to see how it goes... it was at 3. She said he doesn't seem to be loving it but they are experimenting so we will see how today goes.
